Bio:
Stephanie Wood is the coordinator
of NextWave
Faithful, a young adult division of Family
Life Center International that seeks to motivate,
equip, and encourage young adults during their
"transition years" to live radical lives for
Jesus Christ in the modern world. Stephanie
hosts the first worldwide radio show for Catholic
young adults, NextWave
Live, which airs weekly on the EWTN
Global Catholic Radio Network.
A convert to Catholicism and the oldest of 8
children, Stephanie graduated with highest honors
from Ave Maria College in Michigan, with a degree
in theology. She is also pursuing graduate studies
in theology.
With a passion for God and His Church, Stephanie
has spoken to teens, college students, young
adults, singles, and parents on topics relating
to faith, evangelization, purity, homeschooling,
campus life, relationships, and pro-life topics.
She makes frequent media appearances on EWTN
TV and Radio, Relevant Radio, and The Catholic
Channel, on programs including Life on the
Rock, The Journey Home, and Catholic
Answers Live. She has written articles for
and been interviewed by numerous Catholic publications
including The National Catholic Register, Catholic
Exchange, True Girl Magazine, 4Marks Magazine,
and CatholicMatch.com.
Stephanie was the 2004 recipient of the Archdiocese
of Miami's John Paul II Award for Outstanding
Contributions in Defense of the Faith and Catholic
Teachings. She resides in Greenville, South
Carolina, where she enjoys camping, hiking,
watching football, entertaining, attending live
concerts, and spending time with her family
and friends.
